data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The\u00a0<strong>CLIMAS<\/strong>\u00a0project aims to support a\u00a0<strong>transition to climate resilience<\/strong>\u00a0by co-designing an\u00a0<strong>innovative problem-oriented climate adoption Toolbox<\/strong>, which relies on the application of a value-based approach, design thinking methods and citizen science mechanisms.<\/p><p>CLIMAS will test the Toolbox in Climate Assemblies and Living Labs and formulate scientific-based guidelines for policymakers on how to shift Climate Assemblies from expert technically based deliberations to multi-stakeholder value-based dilemmas from a bottom-up and more societal perspective.<\/p><p>The use of the Toolbox will anticipate possible tensions, points of controversy and dilemmas vis-a-vis the adaptation to resilience, therefore\u00a0<strong>enabling empowerment and engagement strategies that produce a society \u201cresilient by design\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Particularly, CLIMAS will co-create a toolkit for using citizen science initiatives related to climate adaptation in climate assemblies that allows making recommendations based on evidence provided by citizens.<\/p><p>CLIMAS outcomes will positively influence policy development and awareness-raising process and offer sustainable strategies to enhance the acceptance of citizens\u2019 led decisions by policymakers.<\/p><p>The project is led by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vilniustech.lt\/index.php?lang=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vilnius Technical University<\/a>\u00a0and with a consortium of 13 other European organisations including representatives of existing Climate Assemblies and Living Labs.<\/p><p>Eurecat participates in the CLIMAS project through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/big-data-data-science\/\">Big Data &amp; Data Science<\/a>\u00a0unit, which develops the citizen science toolkit, while the Sustainability area through the Climate Change line facilitates the co-creation of the toolkit in the Ebre Biodiversity Living
