The Ebro Delta is one of the most important natural areas on the Catalan coastline and also one of the\u00a0most vulnerable ecosystems<\/strong>\u00a0due to its\u00a0scarcity of water and sediments.<\/strong><\/p>

Marine regression<\/strong>,\u00a0subsidence<\/strong>,\u00a0salinisation<\/strong>,\u00a0water stress<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0biodiversity loss<\/strong>\u00a0are just some of the effects triggered by the impact of climate change which have had the greatest ramifications in the region.<\/p>

Global warming\u2019s footprint is a crucial factor in the Delta\u2019s agriculture and biodiversity, severely impairing its\u00a0economic activity<\/strong>.<\/p>
